Six lessons, display resources and an end of unit assessment looking at submission within the topic areas of - Introduction to Islam and Muhammad The Qur'an The Mosque The 5 Pillars Eid ul Adha Muslims in Britain The aim of this unit is to ascertain prior knoweldge from KS2 and extend and develop using the ongoing focus of submission. A provided mind map resource can be used at the beginning and end of the unit to demonstrate progress and there is also an optional PEEL format assessment to demonstrate understanding and application of knowledge.
