This lesson is the fifth of five lessons on logic. Though designed as a sequence, each lesson can be taught without the others. The scheme of work was designed for a particularly gifted year 8 set however, would definitely be suitable for older age groups.
This lesson introduces students to the concept of logical thinking, in particular the recognition logical fallacies. By the end of the lesson students should know what a logical fallacy is, and be able to recognise eight of the most common logical fallacies
