This is a lesson for the new GCSE Spanish 2024 course and is based on the Pearson Edexcel GCSE textbook. This lesson is 1.3 Nos juntamos - the 3rd lesson in module 1.

This is a full lesson and follows the tasks in the textbook with additional activities to support student learning. I have listed each slide below so that you can make an informed decision before purchasing.

The PowerPoint includes the following slides:

Starter activity x2 (one starter at the beginning of the PowerPoint and a second starter task on a slide at the end of the PowerPoint in case the content spills over into two classes and you need a second starter task for the second lesson on this topic)
First starter - Translate as many of the sentences into Spanish as you can in 3 minutes.
The first letter of each word has been given in the table on the slide.
Second starter - identify whether the sentences are present tense or near future tense.
Vocabulary sheet with exercises for practising new vocab - Fill in the English translations on your vocabulary sheet. You may recognise some words and phrases from Year 9, so do as many as you can without help before you turn to page 29 for support.
