This is 2 lessons with practical and listening elements about Samba Music created for the OCR syllabus Rhythms of the World area of study, however they may be useful for other specifications.
2 Powerpoints are included along with youtube links to the tracks you need to play.
In Lesson 1 I use the rhythms on the PowerPoint to create a whole class Samba group, you will need percussion instruments to do this, i swap the rhythms around so the students get experience at being different parts.
In Lesson 2 I use any time available to recap the practical task from lesson 1 - there is also a listening exercise drawing in elements of Samba they have got to know for the listening exam.
There is also an additional help sheet for lesson 2 for any lower ability/EAL students you might have.

Really easy to follow and great resources for both written and practical. Love the listening differentiated help sheet as well. Thanks
