Original sentences with present subjunctive verbs

Length: 2 pages

This is a worksheet on creating original sentences using introductory verbs and present subjunctive verbs. It can be used when students are first introduced to the present subjunctive. For present subjunctive, students will only use regular -ar, -er, and -ir verbs.

In the template provided, follow these guidelines:

  1. Come up with 2 different subjects (use subject pronouns and names of people).

  2. Conjugate the introductory verb in the present tense and make stem changes where needed.

  3. Conjugate the dependent verb in the present subjunctive.

Use the second template to create original sentences with the present subjunctive.

A template with introductory and subjunctive infinitives is provided.

Students will write a total of 15 sentences in the template provided.

Students can complete this practice individually or in pairs.
