Present subjunctive introductory sentence identification practice

For each sentence, write the subjects, introductory verb (present tense), and conjugation of the present subjunctive verb in parenthesis. (10 sentences total)

Example:

  1. Yo quiero que tú (hablar) conmigo.

Subject 1: __________ Introductory verb (conjugated): ______________

Subject 2: __________ Present subjunctive conjugation: _____________

Note: For the present subjunctive verbs, only regular -ar, -er -ir verbs are used.

This practice can be used when students are first introduced to the present subjunctive.

Answer key is included on pages 3-4.
