Present subjunctive missing elements activity

Complete each sentence with the missing element: Introductory verb (present tense) and the present subjunctive verb using the word bank provided. Then, add 2-3 words to expand on the sentence. Be sure that your sentence makes sense.

*Note: In each sentence, students are given two different subjects, and either a conjugated introductory verb (present tense) or a conjugated present subjunctive verb.

There are 14 sentences total. A structured template is provided. This practice can be used when students are first introduced to the present subjunctive. Students can complete it individually or in pairs and small groups as a bell ringer, entry or exit slip.
