This lesson examines the Catholic Church in the 16th century and the problems many people started to have with the Church, leading to the Reformation.
The main areas students will research are:
- Revision looking back at the role of the Catholic Church in the Middle Ages
- Criticisms of the Catholic Church, including indulgences

This is part of a series of lessons that aims to encompass the new 9-1 GCSE skills into Key Stage 3.
