Preterit regular -ar, -er, -ir verbs conversation worksheet

Complete each mini conversation by conjugating the verb in parenthesis in the first blank and adding at least 3 or more words in the second blank. The clue word (ayer, anoche etc) does not need to be used in the answer.

• There are 8 conversations per verb type

Verbs included:

Page 1: AR verbs: hablar, mirar, escuchar, bailar, ayudar, comprar, manejar, caminar

Page 2: ER verbs: comer, vender, beber, devolver, aprender, barrer, responder, volver

Page 3: IR verbs: escribir, salir, recibir, abrir, compartir, decidir, asistir, vivir

• Verb endings are provided on top of every page for reference. All questions are the same for all verbs (with hacer), and the clue words (ayer, anoche etc) are the same as well except for 2 questions.
