This mini-lesson can be used with your beginner students in your Spanish language classroom to help them review words related to talking about food and the different types of meals of the day.
Tip to add cultural knowledge to your lesson:
Authentic images are used from popular dishes typically eaten at lunch and dinner in Spain. You can talk a little bit more about this with your students, naming the dishes, and ingredients, what Spanish cuisine typically consists of, the meal times in Spain, etc. They can also make comparisons with how it differs or is similar to what they eat at different times of day.
All of the activities should take around 30 minutes for your students to do (However, they may finish it faster or take longer depending on their ability levels.)
