The following resource is excellent when introducing Business students to change management and reasons for staff resistance. (Aimed at A-level Business students)
The PowerPoint should be played in presentation mode. Students are tasked with 8 different fictional changes that are happening within their school in the future. Students must discuss in pairs which changes would result in most and least staff resistance, and prioritise the changes in regards to best and worse choices for the school moving forward. Fantastic in generating class discussion and exploration as students need to justify their response. The teacher can then introduce Kotter and Schlesinger model thereafter.
