Tener que and ir a infinitive structured open practice
Translate each set of sentences using tener + que + infinitive (to have to do something) and ir + a + infinitive (going to do something) in the template provided. Expand on each sentence by adding 2-3 words and do not repeat them in other sentences.
*There are 20 sentences total (each set has one sentence with tener que infinitive and one with ir a infinitive)
*A structured template is provided for student responses.
Example:
- I have to speak (Infinitive: hablar – to speak)
Template: Subject + conjugation of tener + que + infinitive + 2-3 words
- I am going to speak (Infinitive: hablar – to speak)
Template: Subject + conjugation of ir + a + infinitive + 2-3 words
