**A 6-round Christmas Music Quiz featuring:
1. Christmas General Knowledge (multiple choice questions)
2. Christmas Blended (guess two Christmas songs that have been mashed together)
3. Christmas Instrumentals (guess instrumental/karaoke versions of Christmas favourites)
4. Christmas Movie Music (listen to the song and guess the Christmas movie it’s from)
5. Christmas Music Of The Decades (7 decades of music, but which 2 songs come from each one?)
6. Christmas UK Number 1s (guess the eagerly anticipated Number 1 spot of the year from only the intro)
All soundbytes are edited and included on the slides. Answers on the final two slides. Question sheets for students on the separate PDF.
There’s emphasis on the MUSIC part of Christmas but this can be used across the curriculum.
The quiz can last up to an hour (or more, depending on how long you want to give the students to complete each round). You could split the rounds across different lessons as a starter or plenary activity to get students in the Christmassy spirit!
