Ideas on how to use the pages:
- Printed as a booklet and given to students to create their own revision guides
- Printed as starter/plenary task sheets,
- Homework tasks
- Cover work for students to complete on their own and then share.
- Another way these tasks sheets can be used is in a carousel revision lesson - where students work in groups to revise a set of topics and then move on to another topic after 20 mins, which would add rigour and pace to your lessons!
- Reading task - use a text book at the start of the lesson / module, then complete task sheet on the topic to introduce students to the topic/lesson.
There are recommendations in the notes sections of the power points as to how big the page might need to be for the work sheets to be used effectively by students - i.e. printed to A3 size, or page 1of 2.
If used as starter activities throughout the course, by the end of the course students will have created their own revision guides. Alternatively, give to year 11 at the start of the year as a printed booklet for them to complete as part of their own revision programme - which they will find very useful with it being harder to get students to attend re
