This is a witch Hunt lesson I produced for my Year 9's studying Crime and Punishment.\nI had previously studied the causes of witch hunts and I then did a lesson on a source paper on witch hunts.

My students absolutely loved this-we had some real hysteria going on. Luckily a chair broke and a boy fell off, and I was able to use this as proof there was a witch in the room-but who was it? They all blamed someone, and the accused even dobbed their friends in. Two girls stood trail, and failed the tests. Brilliant. It was a great lessons and the kids are still talking about it. Great to help them understand witch hunts then and now. Thankyou so much.
