This resource contains 2 full lessons with the focus being on writing a character description for a new character to be added to David Walliam’s book World’s Worst Children. It includes teacher WAGOLLs, task examples, word banks, differentiated Success Criterias and writing frames along with a SEND task for children working significantly below age related expectations. It can be used as a stand-alone writing task but is intended for use within a full Writing Unit with the hook being World’s Worst Children that encourages children to use their imagination and creativity to design a character and then write about it.

**Can be used as part of a unit of work in the lead up to writing a character description. Rest of the work can be found altogether on here.
