This set of 4 lessons enables students to produce a conventional print product (newspaper, magazine or advert) for one of three assigned target audiences. Students complete initial drafts and take photographs before working on Photoshop to produce their final product. There are a range of Assessment for Learning (AfL) strategies embedded within lessons 19 and 20 to support with the successful completion of the final products. A mark scheme (moderated from the Eduqas Component 3 mark scheme) can be used if teachers wish to use this practical task as an end of term assessment.

Lesson 15 is the culmination of the contemporary 'Quality Street' advert practical production project. The main task asks students to place their contemporary advert next to the 1956 set text and proceed to identify the juxtapositions in representation and ideology present between the two.
