This is a 'Great Fire of London' craft project which makes a wonderful display and reinforces learning in a very visual and creative way.
This project includes three cityscapes to print onto black sugar paper, two different sets of flames for students to colour in, a full set of illustrated instructions both as a PDF and a PowerPoint.
It's a simple project but highly effective if you wish to make a fantastic display. This can be a table top display, which I think is the most effective, or can be put on a wall.
This planning sheet will help your student plan a letter to a Greek God or Goddess of their choice.

Read the information and legend about St. Nicholas to your class and and then ask them to sort the facts into true and false. Wonderful Christmas listening skills activity! Great group work! Then ask your class to sequence the true facts into a logical order (the order they appear here) and write them up in their books. I have included an image of St. Nicholas and Father Christmas to add to the page so students can see where Father Christmas came from. The Father Christmas can be coloured in as an extension activity.

Images to decorate page.
This is all ready to laminate and use year after year.
This is not a presentation in the traditional sense! It is an opportunity for members of your class to work independently at a computer, search for the hyperlinks on the image and research information about Henry VIII and answer the questions in the multiple choice quiz.
I made this to encourage students to work independently. It works like a mini website and they enjoyed trying to find all 10 hyperlinks that are hidden in the picture.
Of course it's much safer than a website and you can assess their research with the quiz.
The image of Henry with dots on is just to you where the hyperlinks are! Students don't see this!
