Great for interactive learning! 2D and 3D shape cards for the classroom games such as ‘Quiz Quiz Trade’: Children each have a card. They put their hand up to signify they need a partner. Once they have found a partner around the room, greet politely/high 5. Partner A asks what the shape name is or how many edges (2D shape only), covering the answer with their thumb. Partner B answers or is coached. Partner B asks their questions. Trade cards and find a new partner!

Four different coloured mats for Year 1 maths continuous provision. Children pick a number card or choose a handful of counters and find their number as many times as they can on the grid. They can use a whiteboard pen to circle or a glass bead to cover the numbers that they find.

Multiplication mat to practise arrays, repeated addition, equal groups and numberlines. Works on the concrete aspect of mathematical understanding, using salt dough, counters, beads etc to investigate one claculation e.g. 5x3 in four different ways.

Differentiated maths activity for Year 2 children, working on missing numbers in addition and subtraction problems. Available as Pdf and Word document for editing.
