ByteEd Coding Kiwiana Pixel Art Activities - Supporting computer science week (Hour of CodeTM) 2021 Integrating digital technologies and Art, this resource teaches concepts of coding, binary digits and pixel art. Aimed at Year 4 to 8 students. Students decode the numbers to create kiwiana pixel images and develop understanding of binary digits by having each pixel programmed as being black or white (on or off). Three difficulty levels for different abilities with the chance to design, create and encode their own kiwiana art for others to decode too!
