The attached Powerpoint slides contain vocabulary taken from the current AQA GCSE specification (last exam in 2025).
Students can use these PowerPoints as flashcards to test themselves. The answers pop up in present mode. These are also useful for revision sessions.

This resource has been created as a student vocabulary guide. The vocabulary has been taken from the interactive Edexcel vocabulary list for the new specification (first assessment in 2026).
The words included are taken from the Higher tier list only.
There are self testing columns and pages for students to use using the ‘look, cover, write and check’ method.
This guide could be printed for students or uploaded to digital homework platforms.
Please remember that students still need to know the Foundation tier vocabulary in addition to the Higher tier vocabulary.
