Hello! Thanks for viewing my shop. I've been teaching now for over 10 years and was a teaching assistant before that. I'm currently teaching Year 3/4 but have taught in EYFS, Year 1 and 2, & Yr 6. I've worn many hats during my teaching career and I'm now deputy head of a small but ever growing successful first school!
I love creating resources that can be used to capture and engage the children in my class that allow them to really enjoy their learning. Please get in touch and leave feedback!

Hi,
Thanks for viewing this resources.
It is 100% editable and contains mastery plus fluency and reasoning style questions.
Included in this resource:
5 pages of questions and 2 worksheets.
Interactive smartboard which contains quiz style slides and drag and drop activities.
Works well alongside plickers.
I cut the questions up and either use them to extend learners who have completed tasks or for plenaries/starters.
Occasionally I have cut them up and placed them on tables for children to collaboratively solve.
Please feel free to adapt questions to suit the needs of your class. I hope that this is useful.
Many thanks
Hi,
This resourse focus on allowing the children to engage in key critical thinking skills and practice their skills in place value, adding and subtracting.
The 20 questions vary from asking the children to Fluently add and subtract within 1000 using strategies and algorithms based on place value, properties of operations, and/or the relationship between addition and subtraction and reading and writing numbers to 1000 using base-ten numerals and number names.
I’ve included a word version so you can edit the questions to suit the needs of your class.
Here’s some suggested ways to use this resource.
Cut them up and laminate them- place them on the tables and ask your pupils to collaboratively solve them.
Stick them in the children’s books and get them to answer them.
After the children have solved a few ask them to place them in order of difficulty - ask them why and what they found most difficult.
Thanks for buying this resource and I really hope that it helps your class with their learning.
This resource contains 15 + activities/questions for your children to tackle. The resource looks at addition and subtraction and poses the processes in different ways to extend and stretch each child.
The fluency activity includes answers.
Also included are 4 activities that I have used to recap and check previous learning.
I have included the original word document for you to edit to suit the needs of your own class.
I hope that you and your children find this useful.
Many thanks.
This is a mastery worksheet involving adding money. There is a mixture of operations , statistics and fractions to ensure that children are still being exposed to previously recapped and upcoming concepts/learning.
I have included 12 varied fluency questions and 6 problem solving and reasoning questions.
These questions allow the children to be challenged in a way that will stretch their thinking and learning, allowing them to master the topic.
Many thanks for downloading this resource. I hope you and your children find it useful. I have included the word version so you can adapt each question to suit the needs of your class.
Enjoy!
I have included a pdf and word version (so you can edit to suit the needs of your class). There is also a smart board presentation to help demonstrate how to make different amounts using place value counters to help children bridge practical, concrete to abstarct situations.
There are 21 money questions that will allow your children to tackle money in different situations and concepts. These are designed to be used to allow your children to achieve greater depth by explaining their thinking and I would encourage your children to do so! I hope that these resources are useful and feel free to edit these to suit the needs of your class.
Many thanks!
I use this resource in my class to remind my Year 3/4 children of my expectations during any writing task. They are great for quickly showing differentiation or just for reminding the children of what is expected of them . I love using the ‘check your writing’ bookmark as it gives the children a check list of what to look for!
This resource includes:
3 differentiated writing book marks (ranging from Year 4 expected, Year 3/4 developing and E.O.Y 2 expectations for my lowers).
1 bookmark to remind how to use speech in writing.
1 bookmark to remind children of what to check in their writing.
I have included the word doc so you can add/takeaway criteria.
I hope these are useful and help your children with their writing.
Many thanks.
This resource includes one template and one complete Year 2 common misconception words board game for up to 4 players. It’s A3.
I’ve been struggling to engage my Year 3 class into learning their tricky words so came up with this. When a child’s playing piece lands on the circle they must write word in a sentence.
Feel free to edit the words to suit your class.
Hope this helps.
I hope that you find this resource useful. I have differentiated it 3 ways. Even for the lower abilities I’ve included some questioning that will ask them to reason and explain their thinking, as showing greater depth can be included for all to try.
Many thanks
Attached are 6 differentiated strips of sometimes, always and never multiplication and division questions. There are 3 division and 3 multiplication.
Each one is editable. I have used them to show reasoning skills and show greater depth.
I hope your class enjoy using them as much as mine have.
Many thanks
Hi,
This resource is great for whole lessons. You can model writing a sustained piece and structure how to add depth and creativity to a paragraph/short/long piece of writing.
I’ve played around with how I use this presentation, here are some suggestions, and if you find better ways then please share your good practice.
1. Print slides and allow children to use as prompts for writing about a stimulus.
2. Show children stimulus and then do some talk for writing, than ask them to write sentence/paragraph 1 and then share with class. Repeat process for all 6 sentence types.
3. Print the slides and cut the strips up. Allow children to mix and match to create different structures.
I really hope that this resource is useful.
Many thanks
I'm using these bookmarks to prompt and remind the children of our presentation expectations of our school.
You could place children's targets on back or just use them to remind the children what page they are on next (As at a young age they have a habit of missing pages out!)
I have attached the word doc so you can attach your school's feedback policy etc...and make it suit your needs.
Many thanks, hope you find this useful.
