A reading comprehension activity, or informational text, with comprehension and grammar questions followed by an extension task about the First World War. The Google Forms activity is ideal for distance learning and perfect for students in Year 3 or Year 4 learning about World History.
When downloaded this resource includes a printable version of the reading comprehension and a PDF with a link that allows you to copy the Google Forms document and save it in your Google Drive.

There are 46 posters or cards of all of the U.S Presidents, starting with the very first, George Washington, up until present day president, Joe Biden.

This is a biography writing unit about the life of infamous Roman Emperor, Constantine. The unit has been split into four separate lessons which will take students approximately 40-50 minutes each. Ideal for students learning about Ancient Rome. Perfect for students in Year 5 or Year 6.

Time allowance to complete:
5 minutes - read through the text individually.
40 minutes - answer questions using the text as guidance (including extension activity)
15 minutes - Teacher and students go through the text and answers.

This is a biography writing unit about the life of U.S. astronaut, and the first man on the Moon, Neil Armstrong. The unit is perfect for students in Year 3 or Year 4 who are learning about the Apollo 11 mission or space. It has been split into four separate lessons which will take students approximately 40-50 minutes each.
The first lesson is interactive and involves them cutting out facts, and then sorting these facts into paragraphs. In the second lesson the children need to use these facts to write four paragraphs. Then, in the third lesson children need to choose the most important facts and include these in an introduction; after this they need to answer several questions before writing up their conclusion. In the final lesson your class will need to check their draft paragraphs for mistakes before writing up their work into a neat copy on the template provided.
