Compassion and caring for others PSHE Lesson. A one-hour long, very detailed, fully resourced PSHE lesson suitable for KS2. This lesson has been created for Year 3, however, the contents of the lesson are suitable for students across KS2. In this lesson, the students will learn about compassion and the different ways that we can show love and care to others.
We will cover key terms such as empathy, justice, kindness and support. The students will discuss practical ways that we can offer help to those in need including offering your time, emotional support, raising money, and fighting for justice.

Big feelings and how to manage them KS1 PSHE lesson. A one-two hour long, very detailed, fully resourced PSHE lesson suitable for KS1. This lesson has been created for Year 2, however, the activities may also suit younger students in KS2 (Year 3).
In this lesson, the students will learn about strong emotions and how to manage them. The students will read Ruby’s Worry by Tom Percival and reflect on the importance of talking to someone whenever we are upset or worried.
We will discuss different examples of worries, the effect that they have on us, and strategies that we can use to help ourselves, or our friends to feel better. The lesson includes a case study starter, a read-aloud activity with a comprehension task, a worry-themed discussion task, a set of case studies and a plenary.

Being a good friend KS1 PSHE lesson.

Students will investigate the global obesity epidemic and analyse why so many of us in the UK struggle to eat healthily and maintain a healthy weight. This detailed 21 page PSHE / RSE workbook has been created for the new PSHE / RSE and Health 2020/24 Statutory Guidance and focuses on online safety including online predators and protecting ourselves including our data and personal information online. It contains all of the information needed to learn about the topic in the first few pages, then the rest of the booklet is full of activities to complete.
The booklet is differentiated and great for recording progress in PSHE. It’s easy to print and editable (as it comes in a portrait-version ready to print PowerPoint as well as a PDF version) - so you can always amend it for your students. This could be left as cover (as appropriate to the class and cover teacher) as there’s nothing explicit on the relationships side of things and all of the terminology is carefully explained. No internet access needed.

Renewable energy, fossil fuels, and climate change lesson.
A detailed, differentiated and editable 1 hour lesson all about the UK’s energy needs and the government’s plans to phase out the use of carbon-based fuels. In this lesson, the students will learn about the nation’s energy consumption of electricity, natural gas, and solid fuels.
We will investigate the pros and cons of different energy sources including renewables and fossil fuels. We will reflect on the reasons why we are moving away from carbon-based fuels and discuss how easy it will be for the UK to achieve their carbon-neutral target.
The lesson is ideally suited to students in UKS2 or younger students in KS3. The resources are fully editable, and therefore easy to amend should you wish to use the resources with other year groups.

Growing and Changing EYFS PSHE lesson.
A detailed, fully resourced PSHE lesson suitable for EYFS/Reception age children. This lesson has been designed for use with children in Reception, however, the PowerPoint and activities could be adapted for use with other age groups.
In this lesson, the children will learn why we grow. We will look at examples of plants and animals in nature, and also take a more detailed look at some of the stages of human life. Gender stereotypes Primary PSHE KS2 Primary careers. A one hour-long, very detailed, fully resourced PSHE lesson suitable for KS2. This lesson has been created for Year 3, however, the resource is suitable for use across KS2. In this lesson, the students will explore gender stereotypes and the negative impact that they can have on a person’s career. We will look at some examples of positive and negative stereotypes and discuss how these ideas can lead to people being treated unfairly. We will look at the experiences of women in STEM, with a particular focus on the mistreatment of female scientists throughout history. We will then discuss different ways that we can challenge gender stereotypes and ways that we can celebrate the achievements of women. The lesson includes an information sheet, a card sort/discussion task, a video clip activity, a poster task, and a debate plenary.
