**Same but different KS1 Diversity PSHE lesson. **
A one-hour long, very detailed, fully resourced PSHE lesson suitable for KS1. This lesson has been created for Year 2, however, with some small alterations the contents may also suit younger KS1 students (Year 1).
In this lesson, the students will be discussing diversity and what it means to be unique. We will look at a variety of ways that we can be the same as, and different to others. We will also discuss the reasons why it’s good to be different, and how beneath the surface we often find similarities with people who may initially seem to be very different from ourselves.
The lesson includes a starter activity, a video clip with questions, a main activity that features Karl Newson’s story ‘The Same but Different Too’, and a ‘find someone who’ plenary task.

All about medicines KS1 medicine safety PSHE lesson
A one-hour long, very detailed, fully resourced PSHE lesson suitable for KS1. This lesson has been created for Year 2, however, the activities may also suit younger students in KS2 (Year 3).
In this lesson, the students will learn about the role of medicines in keeping our bodies healthy. The students will learn about a range of medicines including antibiotics, allergy medication and vaccines, as well as discussing medicine safety and what we should do if we find medicines in the home.
The lesson includes a starter activity, a jigsaw, a video clip with questions, a set of case studies, and a plenary task.

In this lesson, the students will discuss the qualities that people often look for in a good friend. We will discuss what we mean by a ‘toxic’ friendship, and discuss whether it is ever ok to end a friendship. We will look at the importance of trust, honesty and respect in building positive relationships. The students will then use their knowledge to create a magic spell to conjure a perfect friendship. Over 90% of employers admit to screening potential candidates’ social media, so in this lesson students will examine exactly why employers do this, and what they’re looking for. Students will then assess case studies of seven teenagers with questionable or positive social media profiles, giving advice on how they can improve and what should not be posted or should remain private. They will then assess tweets from celebrities and politicians that either made them lose their jobs, or made them lose face in the public eye, investigating why and what we can learn from these.

**The importance of sleep KS1 PSHE lesson. **
A one-two hour long, very detailed, fully resourced PSHE lesson suitable for KS1. This lesson has been created for Year 2, however, some of the activities may also suit younger KS1 students (Year 1) or lower ability students in KS2 (Year 3).
In this lesson, the students will learn about the importance of sleep, and the health consequences of failing to get enough. The students will learn what happens to our bodies while we sleep, as well as learning some simple measures that can help us to fall asleep (bedtime routines) .

A Medical Ethics Unit lasting 12 hours (one lesson is a double) that was created for Year 9 RE, but could easily be used for a capable Year 8 or none-GCSE KS4 group.

1 hour, fully resourced PSHE 2020 curriculum lesson which investigates the impact social media and our social media profiles have on our self-esteem. The lesson follows a girl called Keira, who gives the impression all is perfect in her life when really this is a contrived online persona. This resource pack includes an hour long PowerPoint with accompanying worksheets, well differentiated activities, literacy focus tasks, clip tasks with three-way differentiated questions and information sheets.
As with all our KS3, KS4 and KS5 PSHE lessons, this has been left editable and is filled with engaging, well differentiated and fun activities. It is useful for PSHE / Internet Safety / ICT / Citizenship or Tutor Time. As with all our lessons, you don’t need any prior knowledge as all the information is included - you can just pick up and teach it.

A detailed 1-2 hour lesson all about representations of sex, sexuality and sexual relationships in the modern and social media. The lesson focuses on the consequences and impact of TV shows such as Love Island as well as the accessibility of porn on the self-esteem and expectations of young people. It explores in detail the objectification of bodies as well as the changes in aesthetic norms in society in a structured and well-differentiated way. Best suited to KS4 or KS5.
