French Quiz, German Quiz and Spanish Quiz -the ultimate KS3 MFL quiz pack! For any time, no fuss, linguaphile fun. These quizzes are a whirlwind tour through the French, Spanish and German curriculums, perfect for a bit of a start of term warm-up, or end of end term wind-down. The quizzes are light-hearted and amusing, multiple choice, interactive and focused on all areas of the KS3 curriculums.

All answers are included, there is a score sheet (last page of PowerPoint), and each quiz lasts up to 45 mins. Each can either be played having the answers revealed as you go along, or the board can be paused and the answers read out at the end (you can play either in teams or individually).
Who are EC Resources?
EC Resources are a group of teachers who work together to create easy to use, high quality and editable lessons and units of work. A detailed and well differentiated, editable history skills lesson with a focus on the importance of using evidence. This hour long lesson (with PowerPoint, clips and worksheets) could be used with any KS3 group to illustrate the importance of source work as historians (and those working in archeology) in order to gain a detailed picture of the past. The lesson focuses on the story of the Pompeii and the evidence left behind that historians have pieced together to create an accurate view of the disaster.
Students will use evidence to create a detailed profile of the last days of Pompeii and explore the site left behind and the clues left for historians to decipher.
A differentiated and editable history lesson all about Edward I and his military campaigns against Wales. The lesson allows students to investigate both sides of the story before using their analysis and source-based skills to reach a conclusion.
The lesson is very easy to follow and will last at least one hour.

Black History Month / Rosa Parks - KS1 KS2 Primary
In this lesson, we will celebrate Black History by exploring the remarkable achievements of black women across the globe, with a focus on Rosa Parkes. Best suited to students from UKS1 (Year 2) to LKS2 (Years 3 - 4), this engaging and editable lesson provides a gentle and age-appropriate introduction to the concepts of fairness, equality, discrimination and injustice.
The lesson begins with an interactive starter, introducing four notable black women, and then delves into an exploration of Rosa Parks’ life and contributions in the main section. Through age-appropriate content, students will learn about fairness, empathy, and the significance of treating everyone equally as they delve into Rosa Parks’ pivotal role in the civil rights movement.

KS3 Geography lesson all about how human activity over the last two hundred years has effected our environment. The lesson investigates the processes behind the effects as well as possible solutions to minimize future damage, e.g cutting meat and dairy consumption, recycling and cutting down on plastic use.
