Christmas nativity word puzzles for ages 5-7 years old. For primary pupils or home school pupils, as part of their literacy/ English learning.
Each page tells part of the story in a simple sentence. There is then an activity to complete, most are word puzzles but there is also colouring and mazes too.
This activity is ideal to print off for the Christmas period, and pupils can complete the activities as an extension to normal lessons or they can do the puzzles after a reading of the Christmas story.
This resource will be useful each Christmas and once purchased can be printed off an infinite number of times.

Have a lovely Christmas.
Christmas is a great time to encourage creativity and imagination in your pupils. This presentation accompanies a lesson plan. It is an hour poetry lesson. This presentation teaches what a kennings poem is, the structure of the poem and uses a kennings poem as an example. The children are guided in writing a class kenning poem together, and then write their own poem about a robin or reindeer in pairs or individually.
They then write their poem out neatly, and take turns reading their poems aloud to the class. This is a fun Christmas literacy activity.
