I used this with many lower ability classes as a settling activity. Pupils draw a 3 x 3 grid and enter the numbers given on slide 2. When their numbers appear (they need to answer the question), they circle their answers. They can play for a line and a full house. The majority of my pupils found it engaging.

I created these bingo games to engage year 7 pupils with converting between units of length. I have also used these with success with my lower ability KS4 classes as a bingo game and as a quiz.

I adapted this bingo resource for lower ability classes to revise number bonds in an engaging way. I used this as a bingo game and a general quiz. The answer appears at the bottom of the screen when the mouse is clicked.

Long Multiplication/Division- Rally Coach (Kagan)

Kagan Rally Coach - Pupil A and Pupil B take it in turns to answer the questions. Pupil B listens and praises Pupil A if they are correct or coaches as necessary. They then swap. I have also used this to peer assess after completing the work.

Pupils draw a 3 by 3 grid and write a word from the given list. My pupils practiced reading the words aloud before playing bingo. The picture appears first, then the word after a mouse click. Pupils needed to put the words into a sentence to win.
