Event table top sign uploaded - all it says is event for you then write the activity they are doing. i have added nonsense split digraphs to the resource as well for 2022! Things that you will need to get- glitter and tray for glitter writing fly swots (poundland finest!) for sound splatting i have included a photo of the resources i used last year.

How to play. I have used toy buckets to collect their cards. Read the words and identify the sound. If correct put into your bucket. If not place at bottom of the pile. Watch out for the wave! That removes all your cards and they all have to returned to the big bucket and out of play! The winner is the player with the most cards

Split Digraph fun Banana Split Digraph How to play Each player needs an ice cream boat Shuffle the cards and place face down in the centre of the table. Take it in turns to turn over. Find the sounds and read the word. If they read the word keep it. If not return to base of the pile. Build your banana split but watch out for that banana skin ready to trip you up! If you turn this card over all your ice creams have to go back into the ice cream tub! ( i am gong to use an empty ice cream tub or the lid!) The winner is the player with the most ice cream scoops in their banana split!

This game takes me back to my youth! i have made 9 games. i am going to get the children to choose and alien, open and close the right number of times to segment the colour.. p.i..n.k / g.r.ee. n.. then choose the number on the flap in side and count again, then choose a final number, read the name and say the sound... open to check! We are exploring staying safe on the computers, iPads, phones etc. what to do when ad messages pop up, what to so if they are using Snapchat etc... I intend to start with the treasure chests and padlocks. What would they lock away to keep safe. Why.. talking partners etc. What is important to them, reinforcing staying safe. Then go through a range of lessons linking to staying safe online. (Passwords, talking to people they don't know, clicking buttons when they aren't sure, asking for help etc ... The aim of the game is to find four in a row. We played this like memory game. picture cards/ aliens place face down. children turned over and found matching word.. or coloured alien to coloured word. we played it today and it was great fun- even if i did loose! kids loved it that much they asked for a copy each to play at home ! pictures of the sheets ready to use! bright , colourful and most importantly totally engaged my children.
