The focus of this assembly is a short poem written in 1915 by Dr John McCrae. Suggested music for this assembly is Sir Edward Elgar's Variation with the title "Nimrod" from his Enigma Variations. This starts very softly and grows in power and intensity with a short fade at the end. Mirror Assemblies provides scripts and presentations for assemblies throughout the school year on a subscription basis.
