An excel workbook containing "given that" questions, with a limitless supply. E.g. Given that 140.4 x 9.9 = 1389.96 What is 14.04 x 9.9 = If you press F9 when on the workbook then it will randomise the numbers at the top and therefore the rest of the sheet. There are also some fixed easier questions below that can be copied and pasted. Perfect for all maths teachers with not a lot of time on their hands! Great to set students for electronic homework. They can print off the worksheet afterwards and stick it it. Questions should be entirely random (I would advise the students to refresh the questions initially). See https://goo.gl/dDno4h for a more basic free version of just finding the circumference. This is a Powerpoint lesson and work booklet on combinations of transformations. Skills covered are combining transformations such as reflections, rotations, enlargements and translations, describing a reflection, translation or rotation and combining transformations and describe the single equivalent transformation . Time saving resource for busy teachers! You should be able to teach a lesson with hardly any preparation (mainly printing!). Fully differentiated objectives: Blue:Combine transformations Gold:Describe fully a reflection, translation or rotation Red:Combine transformations and describe the single equivalent transformation This resource includes: • A PowerPoint • Differentiated Work booklet that includes self-assessment sections The PowerPoint includes everything you need to teach combinations of transformations, including animated examples. The lessons use the following format: • Objective and levels • A “how to teaching portion” with animated examples • An AfL miniwhiteboard quiz • Answers to all the booklet questions • Plenary (with answers) The powerpoint and booklet are currently set up for GCSE maths grade, however you can edit the grades to reflect KS3 or your own schools assessment criteria. In the word booklet if you change any grade (e.g the blue section) it should automatically change the rest of that colour into the same grade. This will take up a whole lesson (between 45mins to 1h 15 dependent on how many questions the students get through)

A SOW / set of 7 lesson plans for hockey covering the following skills: Dribbling (open stick, reverse stick, indian and one handed) Passing and receiving (on the reverse, from the side, hit, flick, reverse passes) tackling (block, jab, reverse stick) Individual attacking skills (push and run, roll out, v drag, drag left and right, lift) Penalty/short corners Positional play Game play Updated 6th August 2018 - Included more comprehensive teaching points and AFL opportunities. This SOW was created to save time for busy teachers and is made so teachers with little/no hockey experience can teach it just as well as those with lots. You should be able to teach a lesson with minimal preparation and I made these so in most cases they can be just picked up and taught. There is an assesssment matrix included and all lessons have levelled outcomes. The levels are the old national curriculum levels 3-8 however they are easily editable and changeable to your own assessment levels. The scheme has diagrams, assessment levels, differentiation , teaching points, links to videos that show the skill and clear explanations of the tasks. There are no timings included as each school can vary in terms of lesson time. They should provide enough tasks for lessons of 40 minutes and above. Identifying types of angles in parallel lines tick or trash activity. A great consolidation and problem solving exercise for identifying corresponding, alternate, co-interior and vertically opposite angles in parallel lines. Great to use in a lesson on parallel lines as an assessment for learning activity to see if students can identify the types of angles before moving onto finding angles in parallel lines. There are 32 different cards on 4 pages, some with correct answers and some without. Students have to put the correctly labeled angles in the “Tick” pile and the incorrectly labeled ones in the “Trash” pile. UPDATED - A couple of the answers were the wrong way around. This has now been solved. Please redownload if you have purchased this. How to use: Print off the 4 pages of activity cards Cut them out Students sort them into correctly labeled piles and incorrectly labeled piles Suggestions: Do the activity in groups, pairs or individually print the 4 pages off onto one A4 page and students can stick this into the books and use a green pen to “tick” the correctly labeled ones and a red pen to “cross” the incorrectly labeled ones.
