This is a class I have created for my GCSE students where the key grammatical points are the modal verbs and the impersonal “Se”. It includes a grammar explanation of the different grammar points, several reading activities, translation and speaking activities. I have also attached the speaking sheet my students use to prepare for the speaking exam which they find extremely useful. I have used very challenging vocabulary and structures in the worksheets that students can make notes from the brainstorm activity and text and use them later in the final activity. The students should spend time writing out key words in their vocabulary book and it gives them a great opportunity to think about synonyms to use them when speaking about this topic. This A level resource explains in detail La dictadura de Franco and the differents stages that the dictatorship went through. It also talks about the role of church and women and paying specil emphasis in “el pensamiento nacional católico”. My students found all this imformation very useful and they ended up relating it to other topics from the AQA and Edexcel syllbus as well.
