This is the second P3 lesson for the new spec AQA physics course. It is the first of two lessons on density. This one covers what density is, how to calculate density and how to use the particle model to explain density for the different states of matter. It has differentiated tasks and challenge questions incorporated. Hope you find it useful.

The powerpoint highlights the intensity equation, a worked example and some absorption mechanics. It also has a couple of practice questions. Useful for A2 pupils in their ‘Medical Imaging&’ module in OCR Physics.

This is a little revision support which I’ve thrown together to help my year8 group recap waves. It was supposed to cover both sound and light, however it turned out to be mainly light. It may not be in the order which you like, so feel free to re-order the powerpoint slides to your own liking.
