Floating Liquids Investigation [Complete Lesson]
A fun filled science lesson/activty linked to a Floating and Sinking topic (cross curricular links to a Titanic topic.) Children pour a range of different liquids on top of each other then discuss and record their findings. Some preparation is needed such as obtaining a range of liquids, plastic cups, measuring cylinders etc. Children really enjoyed this activity. Included is a lesson plan, PowerPoint (with writing frames for write up session) and prediction/results tables.
