I am passionate about teaching English, Psychology and Sociology to adolescents. I am also teaching English and SOSE Methods to M.Teach students. This product enables students to apply different theories to David's personality after they watch the film "Shine" and to describe his personality development. Students are to apply Freud's theory and any one of humanistic, behavioural and type theories of personality to David's character. This is followed by critical thinking questions probing into the circumstances that have contributed to David's personality development. This teaching and learning activity is based on three internet sites for testing one's personality, followed by analytical and reflective questions.Students have to complete these online tests which cover Jung's typology, Cattell's 16PF and Big 5 theories. This is a very engaging activity which aims at estimating students' individual personalities. It reinforces students' understanding of the chosen theories.
