I print and laminate these so that pupils can use them every time they complete a writing task. This eliminates a lot of time asking questions and using dictionaries and encourages independent learning. The pack includes a verb mat with different tenses, useful GCSE controlled assessment phrases and KS3 key vocab phrases.

Lesson 1 in the unit of work on music. By the end of the lesson students will express opinions on music they do and don’t like with justifications. Full unit of work is available to download.

A powerpoint slide with key vocabulary and structures for each grade in French. The resource could be used as a display, laminated and used during lesson time or printed as a revision resource to be used at home or during intervention. These have been put together using the Edexcel mark scheme and accompanying revision guides and textbooks.

A3 displays with verbs conjugated in first person linked to levels/ GCSE grades. I use this as part of a display with pupil's work around it. Ofsted loved it when they came in as it encourages independent learning and pupils are really clear how tenses link to progress. I have also included some displays I created on how MFL promotes literacy, numeracy and SMSC.
