KS3 Jewellery and User-Centred Organisers

(3)
Pupils explore metals and casting in creating an art-deco inspired jewellery piece. Pupils design in a booklet and then use 2D Design to design the mould to be laser cut from 2mm MDF. Pupils then design and manufacture a user-centred organiser. All pupils receive a piece of 18mm plywood which then can use as a base, then design around that. Very open ended and pupils enjoy the freedom in which this project allows. Scheme of work, examples, booklets and powerpoints included.

Retrieval Practice Question Generator

(1)
Enable macros on this workbook for the generator to function properly. This crude excel spreadsheet allows you to input many different questions that you may ask as part of your usual retrieval practice routine, except that it generates a random question from material you have taught and assigns it to a random member of the class. Example also attached.
