A complete 3-week scheme of work. Exploring, writing and retelling Greek Myths. Written for lower KS2 and fully linked to the new curriculum.
I have planned for a strong emphasis on Grammar and writing skills (clause structures, direct speech, word choices and figurative description techniques)
All stories are included and all resources have also been uploaded. There is a powerpoint for each day (except when in the final 2 days of Phase 3 - as the children are writing their extended outcomes at that point)

A complete scheme of 10 lessons based around the story of BEOWULF. Written for a year 4 class, it is easy to adapt for year 5 or 6 as there is a strong emphasis on basic grammar skills in the planning.
Planning is of a high quality and includes all resources, including a version of the story (written by me) Wherever possible, editable versions of each resource are also provided. Each lesson is fully differentiated and includes a powerpoint presentation

A narrative writing scheme of work, presentations and resources for a series of 12/13 lessons. The unit starts with a cold task, and ends by writing a short story (hot task) on a similar theme to the text.
Aimed at Upper KS2 but easily adaptable. Each lesson is differentiated at least 3 ways.
All lessons are ready to go. This unit is genuinely ready to reach and planned to a high quality.

Lessons are designed to teach children how to write in a clear and concise way. In grammar starters and individual lessons there is a focus on editing basic errors and writing sentences that make sense.

Art explores medieval lettering styles and heraldry
History explores the causes and battles of the Wars, before exploring the discovery of Richards body.
A complete lesson ( or could be taught across several sessions) that teaches the design of Egyptian Portrait style. All that is needed is provided, including a detailed PPT, resources and planning.
The lesson is designed to develop an understanding of Egyptian style whilst creating fantastic god portraits. The children will produce a portrait for display.

A 3 week fully resourced Shakespeare unit based on Richard the third. I have written it for upper KS2 but it could be adapted for any age or key stage, Each day is differentiated and resourced.

A complete unit of art, based around the underground railroad/freedom quilt tradition. Perfect for a cross curricular topic on the Caribbean and its history (linked to the slave trade)
Children learn about the underground railroad movement, its songs and also its symbolic artwork. They go onto make quilt squares depicting these symbols.
