Easily adaptable to suit your differentiation needs. Learners initially work in pairs, but the activity eventually involves working together as a whole group to compare the different amounts.

A great activity for practicing the use of number and of the four operations. Used with Functional Skills at a variety of levels - including QR codes for embedding the use of ICT skills.
Working in pairs and using two dice, learners roll to get coordinates in order to pick a question. If they get the answer correct, they initial the square. The learner with the most squares with their name on, wins the game.
I have also had the game made larger to use with a whole group of learners with a lower level of ability.
