This Powerpoint activity for World Book Day is to prompt pupils to write a review in French of their favourite book. there is a text with exercises to practise the language, and also an accompanying vocab help sheet for pupils to write on.

This activity follows on from my Powerpoints 'Les fruits' and 'J'aime les fruits'. My pupils are familiar with the tune and loved singing this!

Powerpoint lesson, following on from my 'Les fruits' resource. My Year 2s and 3s loved doing the action rhyme and were able to make up their own second verse by changing the fruits. Actions for the rhyme include wiggling finger (1st line), pretending to eat fruit and rubbing tummy (last line).

Powerpoint to get pupils creating their own 'poems' for Valentine's day. They use dictionaries to make verses of their own, thinking of things that belong together. In response to a recent comment, this resource is is aimed at a mixed-ability Year 7 class. From previous experience I know that many pupils find it very difficult to find the correct gender as well as the word.I have therefore used a little 'poetic licence' for which I apologize!
