I am currently teaching geography and environmental management at an international school following the British curriculum. KS3 geography resources follows the Oxford geog textbooks. KS4 geography resources follows the Edexcel curriculum although there is crossover into the AQA curriculum too. KS4 environmental management follows the Cambridge curriculum although there is also useful resources which can be used for KS4 geography. All lessons have been used by myself and taught in class.

This lesson is designed to last for 50-60 minutes and is resourced with videos, extension questioning, deep thinking and uses graphs/images to aid learning. This lesson follows the Oxford KS3 curriculum and looks at the concept of MNCs. Students will discover what they are and look at big name examples. Students will then create their own company and choose a country to build their factories in using the fact files provided before being shown the disadvantages and problems brought by MNCs. This lesson is designed to last for 1 hour but will likely last longer and is resourced with videos, extension questioning, deep thinking and uses graphs/images to aid learning. This lesson follows the Edexcel KS4 curriculum and looks at a lot of river terminology such as precipitation, percolation, transpiration, interception etc. Students will be given the keywords and asked to add them to the correct place on a diagram before identifying stores, transfers, inputs and outputs. This lesson follows the Edexcel KS4 curriculum and looks at erosion, transportation and deposition. Students will be introduced to abrasion, saltation, traction, hydraulic action etc before looking at weathering, mass movement and slumping. Students will be required to draw images and come up with ways to remember the differences between the processes.
