This lesson aims to get students thinking deeply about their lives and futures. I created this lesson because I wanted my final lesson with each class to pass on some meaningful life philosophies such as the concept of being a global citizen,l lifelong learner and finding your Ikigai (life purpose).
There are three “side character” of staff roles, so that you can host an event with more than 12 guests. (However, these additional staff roles will not be suspects in the main storyline.) Also, there could be multiple staff members for each of the three categories, so your event could have more than 15 guests in theory.
In this resource:
-Hospitality Staff Booklet
-Security Guard Booklet
-Photographer Booklet
-ID badges that can be used as props for the staff

Aim: Students learn about the history and culture behind Valentine’s day.
Then they write their own simple love poem (Roses are red, Violets are blue…).
Finally, they guess the missing words in cheesy pick-up lines.
