This multiplication game involves building speed for the 6, 7, 8 and 9 times tables. Fun to play and adds variation to times tables learning. Repetitive play will allow students to build fluency in these multiplication tables. Students play in groups of 2 - 4. How to play Sort the cards into piles based on the shapes on the back. Each student gets a pile and shuffles their cards. On a start signal, students race to place their cards into the correct multiplication table mat. Students stop when the first person has gone through all their cards. Students then use the back of the mats to check all cards are in the correct place.
