This is a full lesson resource on the Christian festival of advent. The lesson looks at the ways in which advent is celebrated both now and in the past and the significance of the time for Christians. The lesson includes an optional advent candle design task with a template provided. There is a differentiated story activity using either the Bible text or a simple version ideal for lower age or ability students.
