Ramadan Writing Craft Art Project Lanterns Activity

Ramadan lanterns are so beautiful and a special symbol of Ramadan, so this hands-on craft is a great way for students to show what they know about Ramadan. Making a craft is fun, it’s engaging, and it makes learning about special days and months more memorable. The craft is very easy to assemble, and I’ve included options for six designs, and three line sizes. There are two possible ways you could use this craft: Children write facts about Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr on a lantern craft. Children make art projects using the templates, with crayon and dye, paint, torn paper, or markers. What’s included? templates for the lanterns in 1-inch, 3/4 inch, and 1/2 inch line sizes templates for the lanterns for art visual instructions U.S and U.K versions Extra pages are included for each line size for children who love to write a lot. These would look stunning on a display. I hope your children enjoy making their Ramadan lanterns! Ancient Greece Parthenon Craft 3D Model

If you’re studying ancient Greece, this 3D paper model will bring your topic to life. This is a hands-on project ideal for year 3 and above, using materials that are easily available. You can differentiate with the craft by using the smaller, easier version or the larger, more challenging version. The smaller size is 3.5in x 3in and the larger size is about 4in x 7in. The smaller size has three pieces to join, and you can simplify this further by leaving out the steps. The larger version has five pieces to join, so is more challenging and great for older children. Ideas for use: Students could colour it first, or make it as it is. You could also get students to add a modern twist or any other details to make it unique. Use as part of an ancient Greece study Use when learning about famous buildings around the world Use it as a hands-on activity for early finishers, golden time, GATE, or similar You will need: paper glue sticks white glue double-sided tape (optional) scissors colouring pencils (optional) What’s included? 2 pages of outlines for the smaller version (with or without steps) 4 pages of outlines for the larger size PDF slideshow of instructions to show on a screen Student handout of instructions U.K and U.S versions 18 pages in total Please note this model is not to scale and is an artistic representation, not a realistic representation. 3D crafts can be challenging so please consider if your students have the fine motor skills needed before purchasing. I encourage students to help each other with the tricky bits. I hope your students enjoy making a model of the Parthenon. Celebrate diversity and create an inclusive learning environment with this set of over 40 multicultural greeting signs that will help every child and their family to feel a sense of belonging in your classroom, by learning, sharing, and using greetings in their language. These “hello” wall posters would be fantastic in a school entry or hallway, or in your classroom. Your class could learn how to say hello in a different language every week, with children who speak the language of the week getting to be the expert. The designs include flags of all the countries in the world and the words are written in the script of the language. These signs look great printed on photo paper, or print them and laminate them. I’ve created 5 sets specifically tailored to the 38 most commonly spoken languages in the U.S, U.K, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand, along with up to 7 of the most commonly spoken indigenous languages in each of those countries. As it’s not possible to include signs for all languages, I have included an editable version, so that no child has to miss out. 2 per page and 4 per page options included. If you prefer a different design, you may like this similar set and if you prefer this version but with the transliterations and no script, check out this set. I hope you enjoy displaying these posters in your classroom or workplace. -----------LEAVE A REVIEW AND GET A FREEBIE---------  If you like using this resource after your purchase, I’d love it if you could leave a quick review.
