Playground Battleships is a great way to learn about, or recap finding coordinates on a one quadrant grid.

This is a great literacy game to send home with your children that is easy to prepare. Each child must go on a journey to try and find things that they can see, smell and touch for each letter of the alphabet.

Whether it’s blowing a gale, raining or bright sunshine this is the perfect lesson to encourage descriptive writing through the use of figurative language.
