This is a one hour lesson taught as a 'taster' for Geography during year 6 transition week in Secondary school. It was taught to a large, mixed ability class of year 6 students to inspire an interest in Geography. The lesson focus is on animal adaptations, looking at the reason for adaptation and examples of it. The tasks are very collaborative including a 'draw what you hear' paired activity and an animal design activity. Fully resourced.

A KS3 Geography lesson from a year 9 war and conflicts SoW. The lesson introduces students to the 4 day war that was sparked by a world cup qualifier between El Salvador and Honduras. This lesson was created to capture the interest of a challenging boy-heavy class.
