Outlines of houses or city skyline, can be used for a fireworks craft. Made to fit on a standard A4 size piece of paper and has been sized to leave a lot of room for the firework art above the buildings. I’m using this to cut out and stick on black paper which the children will then use chalks to create fireworks. Enjoy!

This is a PowerPoint presentation to be used every time you are doing spelling in the classroom. It has space for 4 spelling groups with humorous bee themed names that the children will love e.g. Mr BEEns, OBEE wan KenoBEEs. However these can be edited if required. The PowerPoint has a space to announce the groups, and has an order of tasks in a rotation including teacher time and other activities for children to be working on. There is also slides describing what each task requires them to do.

These signs are to be used as an indicator for what students are required to do at each spelling station. I use these for a carousel style lesson where children have about 10 minutes to complete the task with their spelling words for the week, then once the time is up they move on to the next. There are activities such as writing ‘silly’ sentences, writing the words backwards and writing their words in ‘fancy’ writing.

This worksheet is to go along with my PowerPoint presentation resource on making a shadow puppet. It is an activity for the students to start writing down ideas for their shadow puppet show before beginning to create them.

This PowerPoint Presentation is a great introduction to a ‘sales pitch’ style unit using persuasive writing techniques in which they are required to create their own chocolate bar to pitch. There is enough content on this to be used over many lessons. The presentation first explains what a sales pitch is and shows a child friendly example of one. Then the children look at some examples of chocolate bar wrappers before being quizzed on some slogans for existing chocolate bars. It also goes into more depth about sales pitches and offers opportunities for the children to act out some examples and find the persuasive techniques in them. There is also a success criteria checklist for the children to check that they have everything included in their own, such as a rhetorical question, hand gestures and eye contact. I did this with my Primary 5 (Year 4) students and they absolutely loved it!

These challenge cards are perfect to test the children’s knowledge on 2D shapes and have a go at drawing them. I used them for a P5 class (Year 4). There are 3 different levels (mild, spicy and hot). If challenge is needed, the ‘hot’ card with the 3 chillies require the children to use a protractor to draw the shapes with accuracy and use their previous knowledge of angles to draw them. These challenge cards can be used as a fast finisher task, or as a station activity.

This worksheet is perfect to test the children’s knowledge after introducing them to the properties edges and vertices of 2D shapes. I used this worksheet for a P5 class (Year 4). 1 worksheet includes some irregular polygons for children that need an extra challenge.

A template for the children to create a restaurant menu of their own. I used this with a P5 (year 4) class along with iPads to research Thai food and use descriptive words to create an enticing menu for customers. The template includes a space for the restaurant name, meal name and description and also the price.

This worksheet is for the children to plan out their sales pitch for a chocolate bar they will create. It allows the students to discuss in their groups and write down their ideas. I got my students to do this before creating the packaging for their chocolate bar and creating the script for their pitch.

This is a PowerPoint to go along with a planning worksheet. The powerpoint explains the history of shadow puppets in Thailand and shows some examples including a video of a show in southern Thailand. It then shows some examples of modern style puppets to inspire the students. These are linked to classic fairytales and asks the students to guess the story. It then shows the worksheet for planning their own shadow puppet shows in groups.

I created this PowerPoint presentation to go along with our topic on Thailand. It talks about Thai etiquette, and things that are considered offensive in Thailand, encouraging discussion on similarities and differences to other cultures. The end of the presentation has a task in which pupils need to write a letter to a girl who is going to Thailand for a holiday to let her know how to be respectful to Thai people.

This worksheet is perfect to test the children’s knowledge after introducing the properties faces, edges and vertices of 3D shapes. I used this for the children that need a bit of a challenge and instead of just counting the properties they need to think about it in a different way. (I have another worksheet available for the same lesson with less of a challenge)

A simple worksheet for young learners to practise writing their name with a pencil and a crayon and to write their age and draw the correct amount of candles on the cake. Perfect easy worksheet for reviewing after teaching these phrases.

This is a fun lesson for practicing perimeter where students will go around the school/ classroom (or wherever you would like to place the cards) and answer the questions about perimeter. The product contains a print out of the ready made questions to display. (I also have a Powerpoint Presentation available on my store which goes through the lesson step by step) I have left some task cards blank which will require a shape. You can either add these in on the computer or draw them yourself (like I did, so that they were to scale so that the children could measure them with a ruler). The cards are also differentiated for 3 different levels of learners, the triangle symbol being the lower ability, pentagon being the middle and hexagon being the higher. This worksheet is a perfect task for introducing 3D shapes and can also be used to test children’s knowledge. I have done a range of 3D blocks and also real life 3D objects. 3D shapes used are cone, square based pyramid, cuboid/rectangular prism, sphere, cube, triangular prism and cylinder.

Worksheet where students can read and label the rooms of the house from the pictures. Good worksheet to do after introducing the vocabulary: living room, bedroom, kitchen, bathroom. Can also be a fun colouring activity.

A starting sounds cut and paste worksheet. Goes with Jack hartmann’s ‘learning letter sounds’ and ‘work out to the letter sound’ songs (Ii= insect), good worksheet to follow up with after learning. (Letters are in comic sans for easy letter recognition but the thumbnail shows a different font that doesn’t fit)
