This is a great worksheet if your topic is Christmas Around the World. Children have to look up the flags and then find out how to say Merry Christmas in the main language of that country.

Rounding Game- Walk the Plank

(0)
A fun game to practise rounding to tens, hundreds or thousands versions. You will also need counters and dice to make up the numbers. How to Play In pairs, each child has a number of counters of the same colour (their pirates). Taking it in turns, the children roll the dice to make a number and round up or down to tens, hundreds or thousands depending on ability. they move one of their pirates along the plank to that number e.g if their number is 23, they move to the first 20 on the plank. Each “pirate” has to reach the last number before “walking the plank”. The winner is first person to have all their pirates walk the plank.
