Powerpoint Games and Bingo Teaching Games

Average Rating4.38
(based on 27 reviews)

I developed these games while I was working in Thailand. Over the years, I taught at 4 different schools and the age of the students ranged from 8 to 16. Anyone who has worked in Thailand will know of the Thai students love of fun. The games were made for ESL students but they work with other younger English speaking students.

Periodic Table Bingo

This is more than the other bingo games one sees. Each game has 50 words, in this case the periodic table. There are 20 bingo cards. There are 50 'bingo calling' cards. There are 50 random PowerPoints for easy bingo calling. Some of the bingo games have extras like a wordsearch or flashcards. You just need to print out the PDF and get some counters, I use small ceramic tiles but you can use anything, bottle tops, beans etc.. Each game lasts about 5 minutes. They are great for the end of a lesson.

Periodic Table lesson (18 Elements)

This is a 30 minute to 1 hour lesson based on the first 18 elements of the periodic table. There is a PowerPoint to introduce the elements. There are two pages on PDF that the students have to fill in. Then there are 6 games to play. The games alone can last up to 45 minutes, how many you play is up to you and the time available.
